[ gpsdrive ] GUI display wishes

some wishes:

  have a clear/reset track button

  option in Preferences to force bearing/heading compass to be North-up
    and rotate the arrows.

  The Distance/Speed/Altitude row resizes wildly as it flips between a
  2D and 3D fix (alt. becomes n/a).   (gpsd 2.33-4 from Deb pkg)
  -- can the data box spacing not be based on an instantaneous
     string length? e.g. change the fontsize not the box size

  some way to see the current map's filename & scale for debugging.
   (a checkbox in prefs to have it draw in lower-left of map?)

  don't strech the left side control boxes all the way down to the bottom,
   pack them from the top at their natural size. then a bigger gap
   down to the map thumbnail.

  the "1x" "2x" zoom level text in the top right of the window is half out
   of the XOR box for me. could it be better centered?
