I personally would also be in favor of having a (comparable) small note about
the copyright in each source-file. And then having one File (like AUTHORS)
which holds all the author names. If this would be a legally working
solution.
One petition to Hamisch:
Since you probably know most about this subject; Could you (please) take
care of this and add this (legally correct ;-) to all the source Files?

Maybe there is a possibility to get part of this information from the
"svn log".
