For a method to obtain google maps.

I have all maps for Australia at zoom 11 and 13.

Also selected areas at zoom 15 and they work very well with gpsdrive.

Zoom 15 gives street level detail including all street names, so I use these 
for cities and towns that I may be visiting.

Zoom 13 is good for general area detail but does not include all street/road 
names.

Zoom 11 is an overview map (15maps cover the whole of Queensland) and is used 
really only as a quick update of where are we in relation to town/city/water 
etc.
