Hi,

  - I hope so - I installed all debian packages related to mapnik:
libmapnik-dev libmapnik1d mapnik-plugins mapnik-utils python-mapnik 


  - nope - this seems to be error. I am going to find information how to 
do it and will report success/failure afterwards.
