Ok, here my answer for all members of the discussion list ...

gpsdrive is running stable, but it crashes at the moment I try to click 
"Menu - Settings". All the other Menu options are working.

The output of

gpsdrive -D99 2>&1 | grep -v -e gpsd -e GPGSV -e GPRMC -e GPVTG -e nmea

in the added file "output.txt".
