The map is automatically selected when you are located in a position on
the actual map. If you also have other maps covering the same location,
GPSDrive does a selection among those maps based on your requested
scaling. I.e. GPSDrive select the map with the scaling closes to your
requested scaling.
Do you use the "import map" function to enter the map to GPSDrive ?
I have used that for many self scanned sea maps, with great success.
