[ gpsdrive ] How do I display scanned map?

Right, okay, I finally got it to display a map.  I must say the whole
concept of Gpsdrive is very strange.  Not allowing one to scroll around
on a map is odd at best, at worst a real hang up of a UI problem.  The
zoom buttons and the slider at the bottom also seem strange at first and
quite confusing for a new user.

I really like the app but do believe it requires a bit of UI and
operational changes or a very in depth "New User" guide.  I guess I
would say that it is outside the normal point and scroll that most
people would probably expect to begin with.
