Can you try the following  things:
  svn up
  cd data/map-icons/
  ./merge-icons-all-from-svg2classic2square.sh
  ./create_makefile.sh

I know this should reside in the makefiles, but it's on the TODO-List. So if 
anyone wants to move this into a Makefile for Cmake, would be a great help.
