With this feature I travel with the motorbike, the libretto in the top
case, the gps-unit at the top of the top case and a headphone which
gives me the text at the waypoints. No danger to look at a navigation

An example would be great so that I can understand what you mean
exactly. I generate the mapquest routes to several other formats for my
Garmin Forerunner 301, which is able to manage routes up to 100
waypoints too. I use gpsbabel for converting the routes into the needed
format (gpx, kml, txt or others) and to upload it to the Forerunner.
