This is my situation:

doesn't compile. I tried several options in ./configure, but no success:

/usr/src/gpsdrive-2.10svn16984604/src/map_handler.c:664: undefined
reference to `get_mapnik_imagedata'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [gpsdrive] Fehler 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/gpsdrive-2.10svn16984604/src'
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Fehler 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/gpsdrive-2.10svn16984604/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Fehler 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/gpsdrive-2.10svn16984604'
make: *** [all] Fehler 2

And the version out of SVN-Repository (I thought this one is the latest!?!)

slack at medino: ~ $ gpsdrive -D 1

gpsdrive (c) 2001-2006 Fritz Ganter <ganter at ganter.at>

Version 2.10svn15113909
$Id: gpsdrive.c 1477 2007-07-09 21:50:01Z dse $

GpsDrive version 2.10svn15113909
$Id: gpsdrive.c 1477 2007-07-09 21:50:01Z dse $

gives the problem with the wrong path.
