[ gpsdrive ] Problems with mapnik integration

Yes, I am running it as the same user that is running gpsdrive. No, nothing
that looks like an error at all:

$ gpsdrive
SQL: connected to localhost as gast using geoinfo
Creating main window
Using Mapnik config-file: /usr/local/share/mapnik/osm.xml
Read 503 POI-Types from /usr/local/share/map-icons/icons.xml
map_koord.txt reloaded
/home/username/.gpsdrive/way.txt reloaded


But I am still only seeing a blue screen when in mapnik mode.  Is there
anything else I could try to test it?

Is pre5 available?  I only see pre4 and some SVN versions which I was unable
to compile with mapnik 0.4.
