Hi! I'm from Finland and I've been dreaming about putting a GPS-device on my
bike (a scooter from Derbi) and checked out some of Garmins products, and
then began searching for software working on Linux (which I prefer to use)
and i found GPSDrive.
I think GPSDrive (Yeah... it's not Gps, it's GPS) would be very more popular
if the website weren't so geekish. I was about closing the website because I
tought the project wasn't in development, it looks like the website was made
back in 1998.
I'm really good at designing with CSS and XHTML 1.0 Strict (all validated by
W3C) and using mySQL, PHP, and CMS-systems. I'm also familiar with Adobe
Illustrator and I would be very interested at branding this project much
better than it's now. Think of other GPL-projects which websites look very
up-to-date and open source already at the frontpage. Light and fresh. This
is what I would call closed source from the 90's and I think MANY people
closed the website without looking at it, thinking that you guys ended
developing the project 10 years ago.
If you're interested in some cooperation, feel free to contact me.
