That would be a good idea. On suggestion, would it be possible to have
separate sections for different uses of gpsdrive? ie: marine usage, etc. etc.

One caveat, I did this for one project and used Plone. Nice site and worked
really well. However when I had no more time to contribute, there was no one
with Plone experience to update the install. While its still up and running
and works fine, the software now is grossly outdated. For project sites,
based on my experience, db backended CMS's are generally not required unless
there are a group of people who are familiar with the CMS/DB config. Much can
be done with simple CSS, XHTML/html, talent both technical and "design", and
documented code.
Not to discourage rather encourage with a bit of personal experience.
