[ gpsdrive ] Ubuntu svn dependencies

What on earth is this scons thing mapnik is using and why on earth can't it 
find /usr/include/iconv.h ?? It finds every other damn thing but that. Tried 3 
different versions of scons (included, ubuntu package and scons maintained 
package) and none of them seem to work.
They all have given me a weird error of finding everything but iconv.h when 
building, then missing 1 or 2 files when installing with exactly the same 
settings! @#$%$%. Man, this is just like going back to MS. Anyone had any 
experience with this?
