Two questions one related and one off topic perhaps:

Sourceforge would be a great repository for map tiles and georeferenced image
data prepared by users. Would/could such a facility exist or be made
available?

For example, I'm preparing a series of NOAA charts for the East Coast of the
US following Hamish"s guide docs, all in tile formet (wms server is taking
to long to sort out for now) and it would be great to make those available as
they are prepared. License is a non issue as its all public domain stuff. Say
for example a user data contrib area

Second question, related to the above. Need to start learning grass. Other
then the grass site tutorials and good references available for mortals.

Best regards and thanks.
