"diff -ur" does a recursive diff between two trees. However, as you say,
"svn diff" is much easier. I'll use that in future.

Possibly. I had to look at the source of libgps to find out what it was
doing.

The data is returned from gpsd in the order requested. "o" data sets the fix
mode to non-DGPS, whether or not the fix mode has already been set by the
"s" data.
