having a turning map is really interesting, but it's not one of our primary 
goals now. sometime in the future we will have this feature.

displaying such data would be possible, I guess. one just has to write an 
import filter. but overlaying different image/map data is currently not 
possible. what is possible is to overlay POIs, track and route data on a 
map/image from one source.
