Ehrm... Don't expect me to be an OpenMoko expert - I just read through
the stuff on their Wiki to be able to build gpsdrive for it. :)

Well, memory footprint is always an issue in embedded systems, for sure. :)
However, I tried running gpsdrive on the device now for some time and it
works quite stable so far - if I don't start any other app in parallel.
So it may be we need to optimize stuff here someday, but it's not a very
pressing issue for me at the moment.
A more pressing issue seems to be some font and display problems...
