This gives me :
--------- Check Number of lines in Database 'gis'
Counting entries in all Tables ( planet_osm_point planet_osm_line
planet_osm_polygon planet_osm_roads )
Table planet_osm_point = 3227
Table planet_osm_line = 8281
Table planet_osm_polygon = 178
Table planet_osm_roads = 1476
As I only have the Philippines in my database.
I did have the roads working, but with no roadnames, on one occasion. Then I
closed and reopened gpsdrive, and once again no roads :-(
Setting debug level to 10 I noticed the error :
error : psql: FATAL: IDENT authentication failed for user "gpsdrive"
I solved this by editing pg_hba.conf and changing all the local connections
to trust.
Now the error has gone away, But still no roads :-(
POI's and coastlines are displayed ok.
edit :
just deleted the build directory and re-ran :
./build_make.sh --prefix=/usr/local --build Release
make install
and now I have roads again :-)
But still no road names :-(
Thanks for your help
Ian
