yes, this was referring your patch.
it should be in svn now. sorry for the delay.

I changed the necessary option to '-e', because that fits better 
to 'embedded'.

the patch with the additional arguments is not yet included. I will have a 
look at it when I have more time.
If we will do this, the option should be renamed to '-E', because we have a 
convention for gpsdrive, that all options that need arguments should be upper 
case.
