I ran into excatly the same problem, and posted to the list here about it back 
in April.

Please could the output of "--help" be updated in the current downloadable 
(non-CVS) version of the software, so that it corresponds to what the 
application actually does, otherwise people are going to continue being 
confused by --help telling them that -r and -s work just as they used to, 
whereas the application (a) no longer supports them, and (b) uses a now 
undocumented -g option.
