[ gpsdrive ] Mapnik/OSM - coastlines and maps don´t match, projection issue

I have noticed that when using the Mercator projection when loading map
data into the database (which I have to do, otherwise MY position will be
off to the south), the map is projected south of the coastline. Position is
correct wrt the map data but not to the coastline.

It seems the correct method would be that GPSDrive should use non-spherical
mercator. Or can the projection method somehow be set for the coastline
data?

Problem is not so visible with the default sea color in osm.xml. Change it
to blue and you will see.
