I was about to post a similar question. I have now set up a
postgresql/postgis database and fed it the Finnish map using osm2pgsql.
GPSDrive does not seem to know to use Mapnik to render with data from the
map.
Have set mapnik=1 in gpsdriverc but it is set back to zero after a start.

gpsfetchmap.pl says this, do I need to install imagemagick?
