I am new to Linux via the micro laptop from ASUS (eeePC).  I have used 
the NOAA free-download BSB & ENC charts with my Fugawi Windows-based 
navigation software for 4 years.  I am trying to duplicate this on the 
Linux (Xandros) factory pre-install on the eeePC which would 
significantly reduce my power requirements on my sail boat.

I am in the Toronto Canada area and would appreciate linking up with a 
fellow boater willing to work on this and to document it for the growing 
number of eeePC users.

I am trying to get my eeePC to fully recognize/receive the GPS sentences 
from my GPS-usb receiver made by Holux (G-613) for which Holux provides 
a Linux download driver.
