If you select MediaWiki in the Hosted Apps pull down menu you get the
correct URL, it's only if you go to the Hosted Apps page that you get
the bad one:
  https://sourceforge.net/hostedapp/?group_id=148048

this is the correct one.

sounds like they hired some folks who used to work at an ISP.
I'd guess that it really is a SF problem, but we should let the project
admin comment first :)
