Hi,
I'd suggest renaming it something other than "User Manual", that name
is already held by the man page. Perhaps user guide or beginner's guide?
I'd also suggest linking to relevant #section of the html man page* from
each wiki subsection, as needed. (see redundancy comment below)
For the Help->Help info I'd suggest just cut & paste, it's not easy to
automatically pull that.
to create a thumbnail of an image add "|450px" after the filename to
shrink it to, e.g., 450 pixels wide.
[*] I've added a script to automatically download the latest man page
from SVN and convert it into .txt and .html version. Currently that
happens on SF but I need to run it manually after each edit in SVN.
Hopefully that will happen automatically in a daily cron job one day.

you can probably link into the Data_sources, Creating_maps, and other
pages quite a bit, and/or merge content back or forth. The idea being
to limit redundancy/double effort/maintenance. No need to explain S-57
four times..
