Hi Fred,

Follow the steps for setting up gpsd from the howto as gpsd is not running at startup and without the mods will not run.

You could also try:


gpsd -n /dev/ttyUSB0 &

or

gpsd -n /dev/gps &

This is for a USB connected gps.

gpspipe will not do anything unless gpsd is running.
