[ gpsdrive ] mediterranean sea nautical charts on gpsdrive

I fixed my problem on gpsdrive installation that was mixing up gpsdrive
and ubuntu hardy packages as in the following post by Chris H.
I there any way to download and install free mediterranean sea nautical
charts into gpdrive?
I already read some mails in the list about nautical charts, but i did
not find a suitable solution, mostly referring to US charts
