In the preferences tab there might be a switch to automatically switch
the format to DDDd MM.MMM' and units to knots, etc. But those options are
already there if you want them.

Really the only difference I can see would be the map tile sets. And that
is totally independent of the program.

How would a marine or aviation specific version differ from what we have
now?
