Running a simple debuild does of course not resolve any of the dependency 
problems for Ubuntu.  However pbuilder (as noted in the error messages) is 
interesting so dug up the following tutorial and will start to work on it as 
time permits. This will require a separate install as to not hose existing 
workstation and to meet dependency requirements.
