the file saving could also be included into the callback (see below).
but I don't know if this is a good idea to do this automatically.
maybe better with a separate button, or configurable in the settings...

the "old" function 'savetrackfile' is still in the code (track.c)
you could take the filename creation from there and call 'gpx_file_write' 
(gpx.c) with the created name...
