I use gpsdrive on my laptop (IBM ThinkPad T60, Core2Duo 1,6GHz) with

As described above: Mapping for OSM, Geocaching, just displayling where I am

- - Better way to pan map (instead of having to go to position mode and
click my way through (or did I miss something?)); maybe some meta-key +
cursor keys

- - routing (yes, that's a tough hope but there's still navit ;)

- - maybe bring mysql-support back

- - possibility to show/hide some mapnik-layers/POI-types from the
Postgres-DB (e.g. show only parking spaces or supermarkets)
