You can currently do this by quiting the program via the main menu but it's a real pain when travelling in a vehicle even when stopped.

A next button can be easily accessed whilst in a vehicle using a touch screen even whilst driving.

Date and number for the gpx files would be good, possibly even at a user configurable time period, eg every hour

Lack of hover time and trying to use whilst driving.
