current scenario:
gpsdrive --requires--> libsqlite
gpsdrive --requires--> libgda --requires--> libpq

possible scenario
gpsdrive --requires--> sqlite + libpq

if we choose to support other database backends in the future, then keeping 
gda is a good choice. otherwise it's not really necessary.
