Ah, makes sense ! But I still get a mapnik error when starting
gpsdrive.

Cannot init mapnik. Mapnik support DISABLED: PSQL error:
FATAL:  Ident authentication failed for user "dbannon" in layer
'leisure'

Does this mean I need to be running postgress to use mapnik ? Yep, looks
like thats the case, I just found  R K Scanlon's page on the wiki, will
have a play !

(I have done a bit of doc writing in the past, if I am still playing in
this space in awhile, maybe I can help with some of the documentation ?)
