[ gpsdrive ] any ideas on how to resolve OSM map offset seen after ubuntu upgrade

It's all to do with the projection used. If you want to stay with the older
gpsdrive, using "osm2pgsql -M" when importing the data may work.
That said, there are advantages to running the latest version of gpsdrive.
