Maybe the package "jpeg" hsa been updated from version 6 to version 7,
so the .so-file that gpsdrive is linked against doesn't exist anymore.
Either you could go back to jpeg version 6, have both versions installed
at the same time or recompile gpsdrive so it links against the new
version of jpeg.
By the way: Which distribution are you using?
